Ithaca High School Drama Production November 9-11

Ithaca High School proudly presents the Fall Drama Production: Teach Me How to Cry by Patricia Joudry. A boy and a girl, both outcasts in the world of prom dates and grapevine rumor, stumble upon each other and slowly find their way toward affection, identity and dignity. Performances are Friday. November 9, 2018, Sat. November 10 @ 7:30 and Sun. November 11 @ 2 the Ithaca High School Performing Arts Center Black Box Theater 1405 N. Cayuga Street, Ithaca, NY. Tickets on sale in Ithaca High School cafeteria starting November 5 during lunch periods (11 am-1:30 pm) and at the door. Tickets are $8 students/$10 adults. The cast features Sankofa McLaurin as Melinda Grant and James Harrod as Will Henderson.

Daphne Shululu, ICSD Fine and Performing Arts Director, reports that the production choice was voted on by students this year.

This production is directed by Lorraine Tino, with assistance by student stage manager Lynne Walker, and technical direction by Stephen Brookhouse and the Technical Theater Club. Support for this production is provided by Fine Arts Booster Group (FABG) drama grant. FABG is an affiliate of the Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI).
