Ithaca High Students Connect to Syrian Children with Art - Memory Project

My Drawing & Painting students participated in the Memory Project again this year, sending portraits to Syrian children in refugee camps. We want the portraits to help the children feel valued and important, to know that many people care about their well being, and to act as meaningful pieces of personal history in the future. For the art students, we want this to be an opportunity to creatively practice kindness and global awareness. Many thanks to FABG for their supporting grant. You can enjoy the video delivery of the portraits : https://memoryproject.app.box.com/v/CarolSpence/file/283336447891Memoryproject2018.PNG
